A complex urban site on an historic basin at the end of the Grand Union Canal and bordered by a Grade I listed viaduct.
The masterplan provided phased delivery with 4 distinct parcels of land; each with unique challenges, but all benefitting from the inspiring location. A series of buildings is arranged around Limehouse Basin to maximise water views and values.
The early phases, to the western end, include a 12 storey tower as a focal point on the marina with a spectacular penthouse with 180 degree views. These buildings also address significant technical challenges and engineering constraints with a double basement car park which sits across the Limehouse Link Tunnel.
To the eastern end, the final phases maximise value within restricted development capacity, including a further 12 storey tower, as well as a series of grand houses; contemporary in design and layout with a dramatic triple-height stair.
The scheme revitalises the waterside with generous new landscaping and commercial activity.
