The scheme consists of a sensitive and contemporary regeneration of a locally listed Victorian House and its remaining grounds in Leyton, North London. One of the primary objectives is to retain and renovate Grove House, a neglected three storey Victorian dwelling, bring it back to life and return the building to residential use. The setting for Grove House is enhanced by creating a formally landscaped garden facing onto the High Road in Leyton.
The scheme delivers a sensitive design consisting of apartments of mixed tenure and size, three of which are located in the existing Victorian House, and a 4500sq.ft space for Leyton Working Men’s Club.
